today in human geo class we had a pop quiz. It completely caught me by surprise. When we got the quiz we went over the directions and he showed us what was on the quiz. We had to use the scantron sheet to answer the questions on the qiuz. There was a little confusion during the quiz on the part where you had to match the leader with the country. Over all I thought I did pretty well, I got a 80% on the quiz. Which means I got 3 wrong. I hope this will not bring down my grade alot or push it up alot.

Today in human geo class we took a ridiculous test! I thought it was ridiculous because we had ten minutes to finish the front of the test using the cia world factbook. At first my computer was acting up and then I could find the united states of america on the list and it drove me crazy! I finished that part with like ten seconds to spare. The rest of the quiz was fairly easy, Mr. schick made me write down an answer for the bonus even though I didn't know the answer to the bonus question. So I just wrote down random numbers, I definitely know I didn't get them right. Overall it was not that bad of a test.

today in human geo class we talked about the test and the material that was going t o be on the test. we started with the main terms or definitions that were gonna be on the test. Mr. schick pulled out one of the test and showed us the part of the test were we have to use the C.I.A world factbook to answer the questions. He showed us as well how much time we had to finish that part . Mr. Schick pulled open a tab and showed us a stopwatch the had ten minutes set already. We have ten minutes to finish this part, I am frightened! I hope I do good on this test.

Today we talked about the best country in your own opinion. I thought that canada was the best country because there is a lot of snow and there is a good healthcare system. We talked about interesting facts about the country that we chose. The united states is first for importing oil. Then we are forty seventh for exporting. I thought this was very interesting because we are second biggest producer of oil. But we use so much oil we have to buy it from other countries.

Today in human geo we talked about the effect of the population pyramid. This image tells us the population of the country while also telling us whether it is male or female and what the ages are.
There are three categories, pre-childbearing ages, childbearing ages, and non-childbearing ages.
We looked at Canada's population pyramid and saw that most of its population is over the childbearing ages and so it causes the population to decrease. This is the same situation that japan has because they have a high life expectancy. Another contributing factor was the wars that Japan fought in. This resulted in Japans decrease in population.
