Today in  class we talked again about the affect america has on other countries. Mr. Schick showed us a photo of a mcdonalds and KFC in China, this fast food restaurant was like no other. It was the same chain of fast food but the building has a chinese twist on it. Since the american companies have moved to other countries the life expectancy has dropped dramatically. Japanese  people are expected to live to at least live to eighty years of age. Fast food causes heart problems and heart attacks if not you don't watch what you eat. All of this is an example of globalization, globalization is the connection between different parts of the world. Globalization  is not a new idea, it has been around for a very long time. Alexander the Great used globalization to try and unite many parts of the world under one government. This is what i thought and gathered about today's class.
